Welcome to CHELCO's member family. We process requests during business hours, so please allow 24 hours for your request to be received by our member service representatives.

You may apply for service using our online application for power (residential application only). This application is for new service, not to reconnect an existing service.

To download and print applications for electric service, just click the link below, fill out the application and return it by mail, fax or in person at any one of our six area offices.

Residential application for electric service. You must provide a copy of your picture identification with the application.

Commercial application for electric service. You must provide the appropriate documents relating to your business (i.e., fictitious name notice, partnership documentation, or incorporation certificate). 

If you are renting the premises for which you are requesting electric service, the representation of owner's agent form must be completed and presented at the time you make application for the service. 

Lease agreements/rental forms may be submitted to memberbilling@chelco.com.
