CHELCO is pleased to offer you the opportunity to participate in our Green Power Choice program, an innovative program designed to protect the environment.

"Green Power" is a term for electricity that is partially or entirely generated from environmentally preferable renewable energy sources, such as solar, wind, biomass, hydro and methane gas.

Green Power Choice allows interested members to join CHELCO in actively caring for the environment while supporting the environmental benefits of using renewable energy - in this case, methane gas harvested from a local landfill - as a fuel source.

Our members have the opportunity to support the Green Power Choice program and renewable energy by purchasing green power in 100-kilowatt hour increments.

This program will be implemented pending approval of the Florida Public Service Commission. At this time, we are developing a list of interested members who would like to participate in the program once it is finalized. Please notify CHELCO if you would like to participate.
