DeFuniak Springs (Jan. 23, 2022) – CHELCO will again award six $1,000 scholarships to local students to help with college tuition in 2023.

CHELCO members or member dependents who plan to attend college or trade school in the summer or fall semester of 2023 are eligible to apply for the scholarship. Applicants must submit transcripts displaying a GPA of at least 2.5 and be in good standing with their school. Those seeking graduate degrees will not be eligible for the scholarship.

Scholarship winners will be drawn at the CHELCO Annual Meeting on April 15 at Freeport High School. To win the scholarship, applicants must be in attendance, with no exceptions.
