CHELCO crews, mutual aid linemen, and contractors continue working around the clock to restore power to our members. More than 1,000 linemen and 400 support personnel are working together to make repairs and get the lights back on as quickly and safely as possible.

Many remaining outages are the result of broken poles, fallen trees, and damaged power lines. So far, our assessors have identified 118 broken poles across our system, many of which have already been replaced.

HOW YOU CAN HELP:

• Unlock gates and leave them open so crews can access power lines and equipment on your property without delays.

• Leave your porch lights on so crews can more easily identify where power has been restored as they work through affected areas.

• Please give crews and damage assessors room to work safely as they navigate damaged areas and make repairs.
