⚡ HURRICANE ISAIAS RESTORATION UPDATE | 7:30 AM, WEDNESDAY, OCT. 14

As of this morning, approximately 730 CHELCO members remain without power following Hurricane Isaias.

CHELCO linemen and support personnel are headed back into the field this morning to continue restoration efforts in the areas still affected by outages. Many remaining outages are in the more remote parts of our service territory and involve extensive damage, including fallen trees and significant debris, broken poles, and downed lines.

These repairs require additional equipment, careful planning, and extra safety precautions to ensure crews can restore power safely and reliably. While progress may be slower in these locations, work is ongoing, and every remaining outage is receiving attention.
