At this time, we anticipate restoring power to most members by the night of Tuesday, Oct. 13, as announced in CEO Steve Rhodes' remarks in the press conference held alongside Governor Ron DeSantis, Senator Ashley Moody, and other community partners.
Restoration efforts made significant progress today. As of 6:00 PM, we have around 31,000 members without power, down from approximately 71,000 at the start of the storm response.
Crews will continue prioritizing outages affecting the largest number of members to restore power to as many people as possible, as quickly and safely as possible.
Hundreds of CHELCO employees, mutual aid linemen, right-of-way technicians, and support personnel continue working tirelessly toward full restoration.
Thank you for your continued patience, understanding, and prayers for the safety of everyone working to restore power to our communities.
